voidsignal uses the information in a report to investigate a suspicious website and prepare a complaint for the responsible services.
What we store
The website address, category, description, evidence links and, if provided, your email address. We also store the report status, reviewer's findings, recipients and complaint sending results.
Who can see your report
Full reports are available only to the authorized team. After human review, the description and necessary evidence may be shared with the registrar, hosting provider or another responsible service. The reporter's email is not inserted into the complaint template.
Your private link
The link you receive after submitting shows a limited report status. It contains a secret key: keep it private. Only a hash of the key is stored in the database. The report text and your contact details are not disclosed through this link.
What not to send
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment details, identity documents or unnecessary personal data. Hide this information in screenshots before sharing a link.
Storage and technical protection
Reports are stored until the team finishes its work and the service owner subsequently deletes them. A hash of a technical network identifier is stored for one hour to limit spam. The service does not automatically open suspicious websites.
Language preference
If you choose a language, a preference cookie remembers it for one year. Without a saved choice, the service uses a supported browser language. This cookie contains no report data or access key.
